pavadinimasOn the 14th of February – the day of all those in love – Marijonas Mikutavičius arrives in Klaipėda with the most beautiful songs. He will host the only seaside show this winter at the Žvejų rūmai.
After announcing a tour that did not have a port city, the singer was overwhelmed with anxious questions from the seaside. “Why without Klaipėda? When with us? It’s so unfair, “comments have been posted one after another, both on social media and in person at the singer’s mailbox.
“Isn’t it our duty to hear you when you are so actively invited,” says Marijonas and, looking at the calendar, saw the best day to come to Klaipeda.
Could there be an even better occasion for the concert than St. Valentine’s Day? After all, she is so close to someone who sincerely asks in her songs: will you love me?
Marijona’s repertoire is full of songs about love and he is able to describe the wide range of this feeling with particular precision. His love spills out in pain in one of the most beautiful ballads, “Bleached Walls”. You can’t believe the depth of love when you listen to the poetic song “Burning Hands”. You realize how crazy and hairy she is through “Will you love me?”. And when you say “Do you love her?”, You remember very clearly that the love that lives in you is not only for that exceptional person, but also for your city, the country, everyone around you.
Many couples whose first date was during Marijona’s concert still vividly remember that evening. This is an exceptional event where the atmosphere for love is especially suitable. It is not for nothing that Marijonas has a tradition of choosing a couple from the audience during a concert and solemnly “marrying” her.
